Let’s create the first design which is going to be a simple Facebook post. You can follow along using the written instructions below, or watch the video
From your dashboard , Click on CREATE SOCIAL MEDIA.

The Create a Design screen should now appear.

Scroll down until you see FACEBOOK POST (Landscape). Click on this icon.

A new tab will open with your design space.

You should have a white canvas or design space oon your screen with a tool bar on the right hand side as shown in this screen shot. For our first design, we are going to edit a pre-made design.
From the toolbar at the top of the menu, click the icon for TEMPLATES.

In the search bat at the top, type in the word BIRTHDAY.

A series of pre-made designs will appear on the left hand side. Scroll through the designs and click one to edit.
NOTE: Some designs will feature a small crown in the bottom right hand corner, this indicates its is a PRO design only. You will not be able to download a PRO design unless you have a PRO licence. Make sure you are editing a design without the little crown.

A design like this is a good template to start with – it is one of the free designs. Left click on the template to apply it to your design space.
The design is made up of ELEMENTS. In this design, there is a background, the pink and the images of the present, confetti balloons, and party hat. There are also three text boxes. As you move your mouse over the elements, they will appear with a purple border. You can select any of the elements to edit.
In this image, you can see that the Happy Birthday is made with Gistesy font at size 108. Click on each of the text elements and see how the formatting bar at the top of your image changes to show the font type face, size and if bold or italics has been applied.
You can change any of these design elements. Try clicking on a text box and changing the text. To change the words in the text box, double click the box and the text should change colour to a blue highlight.

Make any design changes you like to the design. All changes you make are saved automatically.
Renaming your design

At the top of the screen on the right hand side, the software will display the name of the current design. You can change this name by clicking on the text and typing the new name over the top. When you have renamed your design, press the ENTER key on your keyboard to save the change.
Make sure you give your design a name.
Downloading your design
When you have finished editing your design, you can DOWNLOAD the design to your computer. Click the white SHARE button on the top right of the screen.

Scroll and click the DOWNLOAD button from the available options, Check the pop up to make sure that it is set to PNG. If PNG is not showing, there is a drop down arrow to the right, where you can select the correct format. Leave all the other settings alone, as most of them require a PRO account to change. Click the purple DOWNLOAD button.

By default, the design should be in your computers DOWNLOADS folder in the library.
