By now, we have a document that has 3 or 4 paragraphs, and we have formatted each paragraph to change the alignment, the font size and the font type. You can see though that our document is still unnamed – while Google Docs does save our document each time we make a change to it, the document is called by default Untitled Document – which is not going to be very helpful when we have created a few different documents, especially if they all have the same name.

Renaming the Document
To rename your document, click in the space at the top of your document on the left hand side (where it says Untitled document), and type in a new name. Press the ENTER key on your keyboard to save the change.
