Each week Horsham U3A offers some great workshops and informative classes wth a range of topics.Participation in most of them is free for members, and from now until the end of the year, membership is just $25. Call into the old Railway station to learn more.

This month, we are off on a virtual tour of Japan. From the three biggest cities to the coast. Check out the Peace Memorial Parks, the island that is an arts centre, plus more.

Wednesday: Nature Watch
9th August at 10am –Wild Waters: The Nile’s Greatest Wilderness This is a breathtaking nature documentary narrated by David Attenborough. It tracks the Nile River as it transforms from a roaring headwater at Lake Victoria into an untamed, life-giving artery that flows through some of Africa’s most hostile and remote landscapes. And Andes, the Spine of South America A comprehensive nature documentary that uncovers how animals like jaguars and armadillos evolved to survive across environments from Venezuela down to Tierra del Fuego in Chile.

Thursday: Sounds of Music

There is a topic for the 1st Thursday of the month and members are invited to bring music to share. On the 2nd Thursday you are invited to share a musical. The rest of the month you can enjoy a selection of enjoyable and entertaining music.

Friday: canva
Microsofts popular program Publisher will no longer be available from October this year. If you design newsletters or bulletins for your Church, Sporting Club or other interests, you may like to look at using Canva as a free alternative.
This free 2 week course will cover the basics of creating bulletins, flyers, newsletters and more. Plus other options for premium users that might be of interest.
Bring your laptop,, it is recommended to use your Faceboook account to sign up for Canva.
