Monday: Cryptic Crosswords
Are you ready to give your brain a workout and have some fun along the way? If you’ve ever looked at a cryptic crossword and wondered how on earth anyone figures out those clever clues, we have the perfect group for you!
Led by the wonderful Heather Crosthwaite, our Cryptic Crosswords Group is a welcoming space for both curious beginners and seasoned solvers alike. We come together not just to tackle puzzles, but to demystify the art of the cryptic clue—learning the tricks, turns, and hidden meanings that make these crosswords so addictive.

Tuesday: German Conversation
The aim is to develop speaking and listening skills and reading comprehension in a range of interesting cultural and every day contexts. Participants should have sufficient knowledge of German to be able to construct simple sentences and understand basic spoken and written German, have an interest in German culture and history, a good sense of humour and enjoy the company of other Germanophiles.

Wednesday: Tai Chi

Slow gentle movement with deep breathing. Great for balance and coordination. You can do the exercises standing or in a chair. Cost $20.00 per term

Thursday: Sounds of Music "The Music Man"
Thursday 13th August at 9.15am is “The Music Man” 1964 Traveling con artist Harold Hill targets the naïve residents of a small town in 1910 Iowa by posing as a boys’ band leader to raise money before he can skip town. Stars: Robert Preston Shirley Jones and Buddy Hackett. Won 1 Oscar
