The Details What: Launch of Double Spaced Thoughts, a collection of stories from the Writing for Fun group When: Monday 14th September 2026, from 10am Where: The Waiting Room, Horsham About the Collection Double Spaced Thoughts brings together a year's worth of imagination, humour, memory and craft from the members of Horsham U3A's Writing for Fun group. Each story is a small window into the writer behind it — some funny, some reflective, all written with heart. The collection is a celebration of what happens when a group of people give themselves permission to put pen to paper just for the fun of it. Come Along Whether you're a longtime supporter of the group, a fellow U3A member, or simply someone who loves a good story, we'd love to see you there. Join us for morning tea, a chance to meet the writers, and the first opportunity to get your hands on a copy of the collection. Copies of Double Spaced Thoughts will be available to purchase on the day for just $10 each — the perfect gift, or treat for yourself. No need to be an expert on writing to enjoy the morning — just bring yourself and a love of a good yarn.
