Join the Horsham U3A Sounds of Music group for a special big-screen presentation of our October Musical of the Month: the delightful 1949 classic, “Take Me Out to the Ball Game”!
Set in 1908, this lively musical comedy follows the breezy antics of baseball-playing vaudevillians Dennis Ryan and Eddie O’Brien. Sparks fly—and complications ensue—when a sports-loving woman unexpectedly inherits the team.
Boasting an all-star cast featuring Gene Kelly, Frank Sinatra, and Esther Williams, the film is packed with wonderful choreography, catchy musical numbers, and plenty of laughs.
