Activities at Horsham U3A This Week

There’s a full week of activity coming up at Horsham U3A, with something on every day from Monday through to Thursday. Our weekly schedule includes a mix of movement, games and creative groups, so you can choose what suits your energy and interests and enjoy some friendly company along the way.

Most classes are free for Horsham U3A members, and you can try a class for free as well!

There are plenty of activiites to choose from this week, with activities for all ages and abilities.  Here are our top picks for this week. 

Don’t forget Friday is a public holiday, so please contact your tutor  to confirm classes are running.

Gentle Seated Exercises

A welcoming session for anyone who wants to keep moving but prefers to stay seated or take things at a slower pace. The class focuses on simple stretches, balance and mobility, all done to comfortable music with plenty of time to rest and chat.

Art (Pastels & Water Colours)

Our Tuesday art group is a relaxed space to explore colour, light and texture using soft pastels and watercolour paints. Beginners are guided through the basics while more experienced artists work on their own pieces, share tips and encourage one another.

Tuesday in the studio | 10am

Card Making with Anita

If you enjoy paper, colour and a bit of sparkle, card making is a lovely way to spend a morning. Members create handmade cards for birthdays, celebrations and “just because”, learning different techniques and going home with something personal to send or keep.

A small cost of $20 per session to cover materials fee.

Sounds of Music

This group is for anyone who loves music, whether you sing, play or simply like to listen. Sessions might include favourite recordings, themed playlists, background stories about composers and performers, and plenty of time to reminisce and discuss what the music means to us.
