There are still plenty of workshops and classes on at Horsham U3A this week A reminder that there will be no Local History until next year due to Ian Ballinger’s ill health. German Conversation returns this week. This class is held twice a month and helps to improve your speaking, reading & writing skills.
We have a variety of card group running during the week, including Solo 500, Canasta and Mahjong. These groups meet every week in the Main Room and are a great way to stay social and keep the brain exercised.
There are also several art & craft groups on this week such as China painting, pastels and watercolour painting, patchwork & embroidery, knitting & crochet.

Writing for Fun also returns this week and Rhonda will have another challenge and homework for the group. Some of their writings from this year are being put together into a small publication that will be available as a download.
The technology group will return on Friday to continue looking at the free apps available with a free Google account. Google offers so much more than just a free email. This week, we will be looking at how to create a slide show from our photos including adding text and images, animations and effects.
The full list of classes & workshops is available below. There is bound to be something to interest you. Come on down to the Old Railway Station at 23 Railway Avenue and see what we have to offer.
