Bookworms is the perfect place for anyone who loves a good read and an even better conversation. Each week, members come together to share thoughts, swap recommendations, and enjoy lively, relaxed discussion about books of all kinds. Whether you’re an avid reader or just dipping back into the joy of reading, our Tuesday 1.30pm session is warm, welcoming, and full of great company. Wednesday: 500
The Wednesday 500 group is a great mid‑week get‑together for anyone who enjoys a friendly card challenge and good company. Starting at 1.30pm, players settle in for relaxed, social games where newcomers are always encouraged and experienced players are happy to help others learn the ropes. If you’re looking for a fun way to spend an afternoon, meet new people, and enjoy a classic card game, come along and join the 500 table this Wednesday.

Thursday: "Oliver"
Our Thursday morning Sounds of Music session features a delightful presentation of Oliver, the much‑loved musical filled with memorable characters and timeless songs. Starting at 9.15am, it’s a relaxed and friendly gathering where members can enjoy great music, share thoughts, and soak up the charm of a classic production. If you enjoy musicals, good company, or simply a pleasant way to start your Thursday, come along and join us for Oliver.

The Friday Knitting & Crochet group is a cosy, creative space where members come together to stitch, chat, share ideas, and enjoy a relaxed afternoon of making. Whether you’re an experienced crafter or just picking up needles or a hook for the first time, you’ll find plenty of encouragement and good company. Join us at 1.30pm on Friday to work on your projects, learn new skills, and be part of a welcoming community of makers.
