Updates done today
- Added a download file manager – this will manage the files to be offered to download such as the monthly newsletter. A PDF was created and uploaded for testing purposes.
- Added a Downloads page – you can use this to list all the downloads, so the older newsletters can also be viewed/available
- Added a header and footer to the top and bottom of the page – added a header that will fade to a grey background as you scroll. This header has the option to include links to the Facebook page and a phone number. When the button is clicked it will automatically send the number to the users phone if using a mobile device. The footer is just as the template came, I’ve just changed the colours to suit the U3A logo. It can also be linked to other pages within the site and social media pages.
The site so far is just a suggestion and can be changed as the committee sees fit.
