Supporting our Community
Horsham U3A has once again teamed up with the Horsham Sports and Community Club to support their Christmas Hamper drive. This year, the HSCC are hoping to fill 50 hampers with items for families in our area that are struggling. Horsham U3A has taken charge of filling 3 of these hampers. Boxes are in the Main Room to be filled with donated items.
Bob has a list of acceptable donations that can be left at Horsham U3A, these include
- Canned Fruit
- Tins of Baked Beans & Spaghetti
- Cans of soup (condensed/concentrated)
- Packet Soup (eg Cuppa Soup)
- 2 minute Noodle varieties
- Pasta Sauce
- Pasta (any variety)
- Sugar
- SR Flour / Plain Flour
- Rice
- Cake Mix
- Breakfast Cereal (Weetbix or similar)
- Peanut Butter / Vegemite
- Tomato Sauce / Paste
- Ready to Eat Non – Perishable Meals (flavoured rice/pasta & sauce mix)
- Coffee / Tea (non breakable jars) – no flavoured teas please
- Sweet and Savoury Biscuits
- Jelly Crystals
- Toothbrushes / Toothpaste
