Community Group Overview

Members meet fortnightly for coffee and to discuss their lifestyle choices, then come to U3A to weigh themselves. 

Purpose

  • To foster a supportive environment for discussing lifestyle choices.
  • To promote health and well-being through regular weigh-ins.

Activities

  1. Fortnightly Coffee Meetings

    • Frequency: Every two weeks
    • Location: Horsham Sports & Community Club
    • Agenda:
      • Discussion of lifestyle choices (nutrition, exercise, mental health).
      • Sharing personal experiences and tips.
  2. Weigh-In Sessions at U3A

    • Frequency: Following coffee meetings
    • Location: U3A Main Room
    • Purpose:
      • To track weight changes and promote accountability.
      • To encourage members to set and achieve personal health goals.
