Classic Movie Screening "The Birds"

Film Classics presents “The Birds” on “Tuesday, 5th August 2025 from 1.30pm. 

Alfred Hitchcock’s The Birds (1963) follows Melanie Daniels as she visits Bodega Bay, only to face inexplicable, violent bird attacks. This suspense masterpiece blends psychological tension with ecological horror, questioning humanity’s fragility against nature. Film Classics meet on the First Tuesday of the month Next Month: September 2nd: “Guess Who’s Coming to Dinner?” Stanley Kramer’s Guess Who’s Coming to Dinner (1967) confronts racial prejudice through the story of an interracial couple (Sidney Poitier and Katharine Houghton) seeking parental approval.
