Double Spaced Thoughts: Story Collection for 2025

The Horsham U3A “Writing for Fun” group is delighted to announce the release of our latest book, Double Spaced Thoughts – 2025 Collection of Stories and Poems. This new volume gathers the words, memories and imaginings of local writers who meet simply for the joy of putting pen to paper and sharing their work with friends.

Across its pages you will find short stories, poems, reflections and playful pieces that range from warm nostalgia to gentle humour and thoughtful observation. Each contribution is an original work by a member of the group, shaped in our weekly sessions where encouragement, conversation and plenty of laughter sit alongside drafts and red pens. The collection showcases the rich variety of voices in our group, proving that creativity continues to flourish at every age.
