German Conversation

German Conversation

Horsham U3A’s German Conversation group meets this Tuesday at 10am and offers a relaxed way to keep language skills ticking over. Whether you learned German years ago at school or picked up a few phrases while travelling, you are welcome to join in. The session focuses on simple conversation, listening and confidence, rather than grammar drills or tests. Participants chat about everyday topics, practise useful expressions and share a few laughs along the way. If you enjoy languages and friendly company, come along on Tuesday and see how much German you remember.

Tuesday, 10am

Tai Chi

Horsham U3A’s Tai Chi sessions offer a gentle way to improve balance, flexibility and focus. Held on Wednesday and Friday mornings at 9.15am, the group works through slow, flowing movements that are suitable for most fitness levels, including beginners. The atmosphere is calm and encouraging, with plenty of time to learn at your own pace. Regular participants report feeling more relaxed, steadier on their feet and better able to manage everyday aches and stiffness. If you are looking for low‑impact exercise and a peaceful start to the day, Tai Chi could be just the thing.

Sounds of Music: "Happy Go Lovely"

Horsham U3A’s Sounds of Music group will present a special musical morning featuring songs from Happy Go Lovely this Thursday at 10am. Members and friends are invited to sit back and enjoy familiar tunes, light-hearted narration and plenty of sing‑along moments. The group has been rehearsing throughout the term and is looking forward to sharing the results in a relaxed, cabaret-style setting. No tickets are required—just come along after Seated Gentle Exercises, bring your singing voice, and enjoy an uplifting hour of music, memories and fun to round off the year.

Committee Meeting

Horsham U3A’s next Committee Meeting will be held on Friday at 10am. This meeting will focus on wrapping up the 2025 program and finalising plans for our 2026 course guide, events and volunteer support. Committee members and invited group leaders are encouraged to attend and bring any feedback from their classes. If ordinary members have suggestions or concerns they would like raised, please pass these on to a committee member or the office beforehand so they can be included on the agenda. Your ideas help keep Horsham U3A active, welcoming and responsive to members’ needs.
