April is a great time to celebrate the special bond between people and their animals, and at Horsham U3A we know many of our members have (or have had) much‑loved pets in their lives. Pets bring companionship, routine and a lot of laughter – whether it’s a loyal dog, a fussy cat or something a little more unusual.
To join in the fun, Horsham U3A has put together a light‑hearted April quiz themed around “Favourite Pets Through the Years”. It features questions about famous animals from history, well‑known presidential and royal pets, and a few beloved film and storybook companions. It’s designed to be gentle, entertaining brain‑exercise rather than an exam.
