Monday – “Writing for Fun” returns
On Monday morning, Writing for Fun meets at 10.00 am. This friendly group welcomes anyone who enjoys putting words on the page, whether you are an experienced writer or just curious to give it a try. Members share short pieces, prompts and ideas in a relaxed, supportive setting – no homework, no pressure, just writing for enjoyment.

Tuesday 10th
Tuesday afternoon at 1.30 pm is time for Book Worms. If you like reading and chatting about books with others, this group offers an easy way to discover new authors, swap recommendations and enjoy lively conversation. You do not need any special knowledge – just a love of reading and a willingness to join in.

Wednesday 11th
Wednesday offers a mix of movement and games, starting with Table Tennis at 9.00 am for those who enjoy a bit of friendly exercise and competition. At 9.15 am Tai Chi provides gentle stretching, balance and relaxation, followed in the afternoon by 500, Canasta and Mahjong from 1.00 pm and 1.30 pm for members who like cards, strategy and a relaxed chat over the table.

Thursday 12th
On Thursday at 10.00 am we will have a special presentation of the musical “The Fabulous Dorsey’s” as part of our Sounds of Music program. Join us to enjoy the show, share memories and chat with fellow members about the music and performances.

Friday 13th
Friday at 10.00 am is our Committee Meeting. Committee members and interested volunteers come together to review how things are going, plan ahead and make sure Horsham U3A continues to run smoothly for everyone.

Other activities during the week
Alongside these featured groups, the week also includes table tennis, gentle seated exercises, art and painting classes, language, tai chi, and several card and games groups such as Bridge, 500, Canasta and Mahjong.
