Call in and join in the fun.  								\n				\n				\n				\n									Read on to hear about our 5 highlights for this week.  								\n				\n					\n		\n					\n		\n				\n						\n					\n			\n						\n				\n					Monday				\n				\n				\n				\n									The Contract Bridge group\, led by David Cariss\, offers members the opportunity to enjoy this classic and strategic card game in a friendly and social setting. As part of the whist family of games\, contract bridge will be familiar to those who have previously played 500 or Euchre\, while also providing opportunities to develop new skills and strategies. The group encourages both enjoyment and learning\, making it accessible to players looking to build confidence and deepen their understanding of the game. 								\n				\n				\n				\n					1.30m | Main Room				\n				\n					\n		\n				\n			\n						\n				\n																														\n				\n					\n		\n					\n		\n				\n						\n					\n			\n						\n				\n																														\n				\n					\n		\n				\n			\n						\n				\n					Tuesday				\n				\n				\n				\n									Tuesday 4th August at 1.30pm. “Far from the Madding Crowd” 2015 1h59m. The independent and headstrong Bathsheba Everdene attracts three very different suitors: Gabriel Oak\, a sheep farmer; Frank Troy\, a reckless Sergeant; and William Boldwood\, a prosperous and mature bachelor. 								\n				\n				\n				\n					1.30pm | Main room				\n				\n					\n		\n					\n		\n				\n						\n					\n			\n						\n				\n					Wednesday				\n				\n				\n				\n									Our monthly card making workshop has been cancelled this month. We are inviting all members to bring along a piece of music that represents a particular country or culture that is special to you. \n\n\nWhat to bring: A track\, song\, or musical piece linked to a country of your choice. \n\n\nBe ready to share: A quick sentence or two about why you chose it—whether it’s a personal travel memory\, cultural heritage\, or simply a style of music you love. \n\n								\n				\n				\n				\n					10am | Main room				\n				\n					\n		\n					\n		\n				\n						\n					\n			\n						\n				\n					Friday				\n				\n				\n				\n									Microsofts popular program Publisher will no longer be available from October this year. If you design newsletters or bulletins for your Church\, Sporting Club or other interests\, you may like to look at using Canva as a free alternative. \nThis free 2 week course will cover the basics of creating bulletins\, flyers\, newsletters and more. Plus other options for premium users that might be of interest. \nBring your laptop\,\, it is recommended to use your Faceboook account to sign up for Canva. 								\n				\n				\n				\n					1.30pm | Main room
