DESCRIPTION:  \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nIf you have an iPad or tablet and would like to feel more confident using it\, our new iPads & Tablets course at Horsham U3A is a friendly place to start. This small\, relaxed group is designed especially for those who want to move beyond the basics and get more enjoyment and practical use from their device. \nAcross the course we’ll look at everyday tasks such as sending emails and messages\, browsing the internet safely\, taking and organising photos\, installing and managing apps\, and adjusting settings to make your screen easier to read. There will be plenty of time for questions\, one‑to‑one help and sharing tips with others who are learning too. \nSessions begin on Friday 17th April from 10.00 am\, and participants are asked to bring along their own iPad or tablet (fully charged) plus any passwords they might need. Whether you are just getting started or you’ve had your device for a while and never felt you were using it properly\, you’ll be very welcome to join us. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n

DESCRIPTION:Horsham U3A is opening the doors for a special Tech Café on Friday 22nd May from 10.00 am to 12.00 noon. This relaxed\, two‑hour session is open to the wider community as well as U3A members\, and is ideal for anyone who needs a little extra help with their technology. \nBring along your phone\, tablet or laptop if you are having problems\, or if there is a particular program or app you would like to learn how to use. Our volunteers will be on hand to answer questions\, help you work through simple issues step‑by‑step and point you towards useful settings and tools that can make life easier. \nYou might want to learn how to manage emails\, organise photos\, install and update apps\, use video calling\, adjust accessibility settings or simply feel more confident and safe online. Whatever your question\, the Tech Café is a friendly\, no‑pressure space to sit down with a cuppa and get personalised guidance. No bookings are required – just drop in during the session and we’ll do our best to help.
