SUMMARY:Sounds of Music Special Presentation: "Take Me Out to the Ball Game"
DESCRIPTION:Join the Horsham U3A Sounds of Music group for a special big-screen presentation of our October Musical of the Month: the delightful 1949 classic\, “Take Me Out to the Ball Game”! \nSet in 1908\, this lively musical comedy follows the breezy antics of baseball-playing vaudevillians Dennis Ryan and Eddie O’Brien. Sparks fly—and complications ensue—when a sports-loving woman unexpectedly inherits the team. \nBoasting an all-star cast featuring Gene Kelly\, Frank Sinatra\, and Esther Williams\, the film is packed with wonderful choreography\, catchy musical numbers\, and plenty of laughs. \nWhether you are a lifelong fan of Hollywood golden-age musicals or seeing it for the first time\, come along and enjoy a fantastic morning on the big screen with fellow members.
